#exabytes19 session proposals
This year our conference takes place in central Northampton on Friday 28th June 2019 and we'd love you to be part of it.  #exabytes19 will be our 4th annual conference and it combines two broad themes:
 1 - Teaching & Learning with technology
 2 - Computing education
It's a highly practical, professional development event for teachers and educators with a strong emphasis on community.

Please note: the deadline for session proposals is Tuesday April 30th. Event page: http://exa.is/exabytes19

In previous years, delegates have told us they loved the great variety of session topics on offer, with inspiring ideas applicable to Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. Delegates told us that the workshops they attended were high-quality, led by well-informed enthusiastic & passionate presenters that provided them with lots of practical ideas for implementation in the classroom, and presenters actively interacted with them rather than simply talking at them for 45mins.

We want you to propose a session for #exabytes19 - Please submit a short title and a description by April 30th that you are happy to offer and that you think will be popular. You can submit as many session proposals as you like for either a hands-on Computing workshop, a story about something you were involved in, a BYOD #edtech solutions session, a roundtable discussion or a fireside chat. Following this, one of our team will be in touch with you to discuss your workshop proposal and finalise content and requirements with you. We don't accept proposals from commercial organisations promoting their products.

Session suggestions - please consider modelling a full/part lesson or a learning activity that you have taught with a class. These sessions have been the most highly valued by delegates. Ideally, this may not require too much planning on your behalf if you have already taught the lesson before. Alternatively, you might suggest a BYOD session around a particular piece of technology or software that you use in your teaching. You could propose a roundtable discussion or fireside chat on a hot topic that you are looking for solutions to. Please consider broader topics using technology that all educators might benefit from eg. apps for assessment & teaching as well as those that focus on Computing topics (where applicable).

Session timing - Please note that all workshops sessions are planned to last for 45 minutes within a one hour window to allow a 15 minute break/change over time in between.
